INTRODUCTION

CITIZAC contains citicoline which is naturally occurring compound and building block of the cell membranes. It improves cerebral function by increasing blood flow to the brain and enhances cerebral metabolism. This medicine is being commonly prescribed for impaired brain function due to ischaemic neurotoxicity.

It works by increasing the brain chemical and decreasing the damage of brain tissues. It is a potent brain-health nutrient and nootropic. It improves cellular communication by increasing the availability of neurotransmitters, including acetylcholine, norepinephrine, and dopamine. The commonly observed adverse effects were rash, insomnia, numbness of paralyzed extremities, nausea and feeling of warmth.

It can be administered intravenously or intramuscularly at the same recommended daily dose. CITIZAC is given by doctor or nurse. Do not drive or operate any machinery while taking this medicine, it may make you feel dizziness, vision problems. If you have any kidney, liver or heart related problems, consult your doctor for advice before taking this medicine. The common side effects are headache, low or high blood pressure, nausea, vomiting, blurred vision and gastrointestinal disorders (i.e., stomach pain, diarrhoea).

HOW CITIZAC WORKS
