  • Swallow the tablet whole with some water
  • Do not chew, crush or split the tablet
  • The dose and the course of treatment depends on the severity and type of infection

Adults

  • The recommended dose of CEFOXIM 500MG is 250 mg to 500 mg twice daily

Children

  • The recommended dose of CEFOXIM 500MG is 10 mg/kg (to a maximum of 125 mg) to 15 mg/kg (to a maximum of 250 mg) twice daily

  • If you take more CEFOXIM 500MG you are more likely to have fits (seizures)
  • Contact your doctor or your nearest hospital immediately
