CEFICRAT CV TABLET is a powerful antibiotic with bacteriostatic properties. It kills the susceptible bacteria by blocking the bacterial cell wall synthesis. It can also remain unaffected by the toxic proteins produced by the bacteria (such as beta lactamases). Collectively, these actions destroy the susceptible bacteria, prevent their further growth and multiplication and reduce the severity of the infection.

Shake the bottle well to loosen the dry powder. Add the sterile water provided with this pack up to the ring mark present on the bottle surface. Add extra water if required to adjust the volume up to the ring mark. Close the bottle tightly and shake the mixture well. The quantity (ml) which is required to be administered to your child will be decided by your doctor.

CEFICRAT CV TABLET may cause diarrhea in some children. If your child experiences diarrhea, make them drink plenty of fluids, such as water or fruit juice to avoid dehydration. Consuming ORS can also be beneficial. If diarrhea worsens contact your doctor immediately.
What should I do if I forgot to administer a dose of CEFICRAT CV TABLET to my child?
