CAMYDA 150MG CAPSULEcontains Clindamycin, which belongs to the group of medicines called Antibiotics. It is used to kill certain serious bacterial infections. Symptoms include fever, fatigue, headache, nausea, vomiting and swollen lymph nodes in the neck, armpits, groin or elsewhere.
Before taking CAMYDA 150MG CAPSULE, inform your doctor if you have or ever had problems with your stomach or intestines (bowel disease, diarrhea), hay fever, asthma, eczema, intolerance to certain sugars, kidney, and liver problems. CAMYDA 150MG CAPSULE should be used with caution in pregnant women. Consult your doctor before taking CAMYDA 150MG CAPSULE.
CAMYDA 150MG CAPSULE is generally not recommended for use in breastfeeding women. The most common side effects of taking CAMYDA 150MG CAPSULE are diarrhea, stomach pain and abnormal liver function tests. Consult your doctor if your symptoms get worse or persist.
CAMYDA 150MG CAPSULE acts against the bacteria by binding to the 50S subunit of the bacterial ribosome (site of protein synthesis). Which in turn prevents protein synthesis and kills the infection-causing bacteria.
Take CAMYDA 150MG CAPSULE as advised by your physician. Swallow it with a full glass of water. Do not crush or chew the medicine. Your doctor will decide the correct dose and duration for you depending on your age, body weight and disease condition.
Stop taking CAMYDA 150MG CAPSULE and contact your doctor immediately if you experience any of the following side effects:
Diarrhea:
Drink lots of fluids, such as water or fruit juice to keep yourself hydrated. Do not consume any medicine on your own without consulting your doctor. Consult your doctor if your symptoms don't improve.
Stomach pain:
Try to rest and relax. Have smaller and more frequent meals. Keep a heating pad on your stomach. If the symptom does not improve, contact your doctor.
CAMYDA 150MG CAPSULE should be used with caution in pregnant women or women planning to have a baby as it crosses the placenta. It will be given to you by the doctor only if it's clearly necessary. Consult your doctor before taking CAMYDA 150MG CAPSULE.
