BUSPIN 10MG TABLET contains Buspirone which belongs to a group of medicines called Anxiolytics. It is used in the short-term management of anxiety disorders and relief in the symptoms of anxiety.
Anxiety is defined as excessive worry and fear about everyday situations. Symptoms include feeling restless, fatigue, worrisome, difficulty concentrating, being irritable, aches in the head, muscles or stomach, difficulty falling or staying asleep.
Along with this treatment, your doctor might ask you to make certain lifestyle changes such as eating a healthy diet, healthy sleep habits, regular breathing exercise, quitting alcohol and caffeine intake.
Before taking BUSPIN 10MG TABLET, inform your doctor if you have depression, impaired liver or kidney function, acute narrow-angle glaucoma (increase in eyes pressure), myasthenia gravis (muscle weakness, difficulty to chew or speak) and drug dependence.
BUSPIN 10MG TABLET is not recommended for use in women who are pregnant or breastfeeding. BUSPIN 10MG TABLET is not recommended for use in children or adolescents (below 18 years).
It should be used with caution among elderly patients (above 65 years). Avoid consumption of grapefruit juice while taking BUSPIN 10MG TABLET, as it may lead to unwanted side effects.
The most common side effects of taking BUSPIN 10MG TABLET are dizziness, headache, sleeping problems, nervousness, racing heart, mental and physical tiredness. Consult your doctor if any of the side effects worsen.
