BISONEXT AM 2.5 TABLET is a combination of Amlodipine and Bisoprolol, which belong to the group of medicines called Calcium-channel blockers and Beta-blockers, respectively. It is used in the treatment of mild to moderate hypertension (high blood pressure). Hypertension is a condition in which the force of the blood is consistently high against the walls of the arteries, which can increase the risk of heart disease, kidney disease, and stroke.

BISONEXT AM 2.5 TABLET is not recommended for children and adolescents younger than 18 years of age.

BISONEXT AM 2.5 TABLET helps to reduce high blood pressure, where amlodipine works by inhibiting the movement of calcium ions into both vascular smooth muscle and cardiac muscle, resulting in lower blood pressure by relaxing the blood vessels and improving the flow of blood to the heart muscles, and bisoprolol is a beta-blocker that works by reducing the force of contraction of the heart muscles by blocking the effects of certain hormones called adrenaline and making the heart beat more easily, thus lowering the blood pressure.
