BINAFIDE 1 contains Budesonide which belongs to a group of medicines called corticosteroids. It works by reducing and preventing swelling and inflammation in lungs. Asthma is a condition in which airways narrow, swells and produces extra mucus and makes breathing difficult and trigger coughing, wheezing when breathe out and shortness of breath. This medicine is used to treat asthma and helps to prevent and control asthma symptoms and also used to treat croup in infants and children. It is an anti-inflammatory corticosteroid that exhibits potent glucocorticoid activity and weak mineralocorticoid activity.
Use this medicine as instructed by your doctor. The dose you take will depend on your age, other medications you are taking and whether you have any kidney or liver problems. Before using this BINAFIDE 1, tell your doctor if you have tuberculosis, infections, liver disease, pregnant or breastfeeding. Your doctor will prescribe dose depending on your child’s age and body weight. The common side effects are throat irritation, stuffy nose and respiratory infections.
BINAFIDE 1 is a corticosteroid that exhibits an anti-inflammatory action. It works by preventing the cells in the lungs and breathing passages from releasing chemical messengers that cause inflammation of the airways. This widens the airways and makes breathing easier.
Use this medicine according to the dose and frequency as advised by your doctor. It should be taken at regular intervals once or twice a day, as directed. Do not double the dose.
Sore nose and throat:
Drink warm liquid, caffeine free tea or warm water with honey. Gargle with saltwater. It warms and helps to soothe the throat.
BINAFIDE 1 should be used with caution in pregnant women. Consult your doctor before using this medicine.
BINAFIDE 1 should be used with caution during breastfeeding. Consult your doctor before using this medicine.
This medicine has no or negligible influence on the ability to driving or using machines.
BINAFIDE 1 should be used with caution in patients suffering from liver function impairment or active liver diseases. Consult your doctor for advice.
Do not use if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to Budesonide.
