BETARAX FORT TABLET contains Betamethasone, which belongs to the group of medicines called Corticosteroids. It is used to treat many different types of conditions, including asthma and severe allergic reactions, certain conditions of the blood, rheumatoid arthritis (chronic inflammatory diseases affecting the joints), autoimmune diseases (like systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) and polyarteritis nodosa), inflammatory conditions of the skin, kidney (like acute interstitial nephritis), bowels (like ulcerative colitis and Crohn's disease) and heart, some connective tissue disorders and malignant lymphoma. BETARAX FORT TABLET also help to prevent organ transplant rejection following organ transplant surgery.
Your doctor might recommend you take relevant tests to understand your condition before starting treatment with BETARAX FORT TABLET. Avoid drinking alcohol while using BETARAX FORT TABLET as it may worsen your existing condition.
BETARAX FORT TABLET is not recommended for use in patients with an infection and who are not taking antibiotics. Before taking BETARAX FORT TABLET, inform your doctor if you have kidney, liver, heart problems, underactive thyroid gland, severe mental illness, tuberculosis, epilepsy, hypertension, pheochromocytoma, glaucoma, or diabetes.
BETARAX FORT TABLET should be used with caution among women who are pregnant or breastfeeding. BETARAX FORT TABLET should be used with caution in children, adolescents, and elderly patients. Contact your doctor if any of the above symptoms worsen. Consult with your doctor if you experience any unusual behaviors, self-harming or depression, etc. after taking BETARAX FORT TABLET.

BETARAX FORT TABLET inhibits certain chemical pathways in the body which reduces the formation of substances (arachidonic acid) that causes pain. It also enhances anti-inflammatory genes like interleukin 10. Thus, it helps in reducing pain and inflammation.
Take BETARAX FORT TABLET as advised by your doctor. Swallow the medicine with enough water. Do not crush or chew the medicine. Try to take BETARAX FORT TABLET daily at the same time. Your doctor will decide the correct dose and duration of BETARAX FORT TABLET for you depending on your age, body weight and disease condition.
