AVAS 10 ASP is a combination of Aspirin and Atorvastatin which belongs to a group of medicines called Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) and Statins respectively. AVAS 10 ASP is used to treat high levels of lipids (dyslipidemia) associated with atherosclerotic arterial disease with risk of myocardial infarction, stroke, or peripheral vascular disease. AVAS 10 ASP lowers the bad cholesterol (LDL), triglycerides and raises the good cholesterol (HDL) levels in the body and also it decreases the formation of blood clots.

Aspirin is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug prevents the platelets from clumping and clotting in arteries and improves blood flow to heart. Atorvastatin belongs to statins lowers cholesterol levels in the blood by blocking an enzyme that's needed for the liver to produce cholesterol.

Before taking AVAS 10 ASP inform your doctor if you have bleeding disorder, liver, kidney, or heart conditions. Inform your physician if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. AVAS 10 ASP helps to prevent heart attack and stroke, where atorvastatin works by slowing the production of cholesterol in the body to decrease the amount of cholesterol that may build up on the walls of the arteries and block blood flow to the heart, brain, and other parts of the body. Aspirin prevents the platelets from sticking together and decreases the formation of harmful blood clots.
