ARISTOCILLIN 100MG INJECTION contains Ampicillin which belongs to the group of medicines called Antibiotics. It is used to treat bacterial infections of the ear, nose, throat, respiratory tract (bronchus, lungs), urinary tract, genital tract, stomach, blood, brain and skin or soft tissues.
It can also be used to treat typhoid fever, meningitis (inflammation of the lining of the brain), peritonitis (inflammation of the lining of the stomach) and endocarditis (inflammation of the lining of the heart and its valves).
ARISTOCILLIN 100MG INJECTION should be used under medical supervision. Do not stop receiving ARISTOCILLIN 100MG INJECTION even if you feel better during the midway of the therapy. Failing to complete the full course of the therapy or skipping doses in between the therapy may not result in adequate infection control.
During therapy with ARISTOCILLIN 100MG INJECTION, your doctor will periodically monitor your health condition through several blood tests/urine tests to access the improvement in your condition and to reduce the risk of unwanted side effects.
