What ANDREMIDE 20% EYE DROP is used for?

  • It is indicated for the treatment of conjunctivitis and other superficial ocular infections due to susceptible microorganisms and as an adjunctive in systemic sulfonamide therapy of trachoma

Talk to your Doctor, if you:

  • are allergic or hypersensitive to sulphacetamide or any of the other ingredients of this medicine
  • have toxic epidermal necrolysis (serious disorder of the skin and mucous membranes)
  • are fulminant hepatic necrosis (decrease in liver size)
  • have agranulocytosis (lowered white blood cell count)
  • have aplastic anemia (bone marrow damage)
  • have blood dyscrasias (red blood disorder)
  • If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor for advice before taking this medicine

Tell your doctor if you are taking,

  • sulfonamides (used to treat infections)
  • topical antibacterial agents
  • para-aminobenzoic acid (used to treat skin problems)
