ANAFORTAN N TABLET is a combination of Camylofin and Nimesulide which belongs to the group of medicines called Anticholinergic and Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) respectively. It is used in the treatment of renal colic (pain when stone gets stuck in the urinary tract causing painful, bloody or cloudy urination), biliary colic (pain in the abdomen due to obstruction by stones in bile duct), intestinal colic (cramp like pain in the small or large intestine) and dysmenorrhea (period or menstrual cramps around the abdomen, hips, lower back).
Having a fiber rich diet, keeping yourself hydrated, quitting smoking and alcohol will help in the treatment process.
Before taking ANAFORTAN N TABLET inform your doctor if you have liver, kidney, heart, prostate gland, thyroid gland, lung problems, stomach ulcers, bleeding disorder, bowel problems, having a surgery, glaucoma and fever.
Avoid consumption of alcohol during this treatment. ANAFORTAN N TABLET is not recommended for use in pregnant and breastfeeding women. Consult your doctor for advice.
ANAFORTAN N TABLET is not recommended for use in children and adolescents below 12 years of age. It should be used with caution in elderly patients above 65 years of age.
The most common side effects of taking ANAFORTAN N TABLET are nausea, vomiting, constipation, blurred vision and dry mouth. Consult your doctor if symptoms do not improve.

ANAFORTAN N TABLET works by relieving muscle cramps and pain in which Camylofin relaxes the muscles in the stomach and intestine stopping sudden muscle contractions (spasms) and Nimesulide inhibits the enzyme cyclo-oxygenase and there by inhibits the synthesis of prostaglandins that cause inflammation (redness and swelling) and pain.
Take ANAFORTAN N TABLET as advised by your physician. Swallow the medicine with water. Do not crush or chew the medicine. Your doctor will decide the right dose and duration depending upon your age, body weight and disease condition.
Stop taking ANAFORTAN N TABLET and contact your doctor immediately if you experience any of the following side effects:
Nausea or Vomiting:
Take this medicine with meals. Stick to simple meals. Avoid eating rich or spicy food. If the symptom does not show improvement, consult your doctor.
Constipation:
Drink more fluids and high fiber food with regular exercise. If the symptom does not show improvement, consult your doctor.
Diarrhea:
Drink lots of water or fruit juice to keep yourself hydrated. If the symptom does not show improvement, consult your doctor.
ANAFORTAN N TABLET is not recommended for use in pregnant women (more than 6 months) or women who are planning to become pregnant. ANAFORTAN N TABLET should be used with caution in first 6 months of pregnancy. Consult your doctor before taking it.
ANAFORTAN N TABLET is not recommended for use in breastfeeding women. Consult your doctor before taking it.
Do not drive or use machines while taking ANAFORTAN N TABLET as it may cause dizziness, drowsiness and visual disturbances.
Avoid consumption of alcohol while taking ANAFORTAN N TABLET as it can worsen your side effects like drowsiness, liver damage.
ANAFORTAN N TABLET is not recommended for use in patients with severe kidney disease. ANAFORTAN N TABLET should be used with caution in patients with mild to moderate kidney disease. Consult your doctor before taking.
