How AMOTID DRY SYRUP works?
AMOTID DRY SYRUP works by inhibiting the synthesis of penicillin binding proteins which leads to activation of autolytic enzymes in bacterial cell wall resulting in lysis/destruction of bacterial cell wall thus preventing the spread of infection in affected children.
Can AMOTID DRY SYRUP stain teeth?
Yes, AMOTID DRY SYRUP may stain the teeth which may occur very rarely in children. Good oral hygiene practices like brushing teeth may help to prevent it. Consult and inform your doctor if the symptom persists.
What are side effects of AMOTID DRY SYRUP?
The most common side effects of taking AMOTID DRY SYRUP are skin rash, nausea, and/or diarrhoea. These symptoms will subside after treatment. Consult and inform your doctor any of these symptoms worsens in child.
How AMOTID DRY SYRUP is taken?
Administer AMOTID DRY SYRUP in child as advised by your physician. Add water upto the mark on the bottle and shake well. Adjust the volume upto the mark by adding more water if necessary. Close the bottle tightly and shake the mixture well. Your doctor will decide the exact dose and duration of treatment for your child depending on child’s age, body weight and disease condition.
