What is AMLOPIN 5mg Tablet used for?

AMLOPIN 5mg Tablet is a calcium-channel blocker used for the treatment and prevention of angina (chest pain) that is caused by coronary artery spasm. This medication works by relaxing coronary arteries. AMLOPIN 5mg Tablet is also prescribed for lowering high blood pressure.

How to take AMLOPIN 5mg Tablet?

The dosage of AMLOPIN 5mg Tablet prescribed to each patient will vary. Always follow your physician’s instructions and/or the directions on the prescription drug label.

AMLOPIN 5mg Tablet can be taken with or without food.

If your physician has instructed or directed you to take AMLOPIN 5mg Tablet medication in a regular schedule and you have missed a dose of this medicine, take it as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, then skip the missed dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule. Do not double the doses unless otherwise directed.
