What ALERGIN NF is used for?

It is used to:

  • treat hay fever and dust or pet allergies (year-round allergies), symptoms of urticaria as hives, where the skin looks blotchy, with white raised wheals (bumps) surrounded by redness
  • relieve allergy symptoms associated with the conditions, such as sneezing, runny nose, watery eyes and skin rashes

Talk to your Doctor, if you:

  • are allergic or hypersensitive to any of the other ingredients of this medicine
  • have serious liver, kidney problems
  • are an epileptic or at risk of fits
  • have difficulty passing urine
  • If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor for advice before taking this medicine
  • It is not recommended for children aged under 6 years old
  • Consult your doctor for advice
  • Do not drive or operate any machines while taking this medicine as it may cause drowsiness or dizziness

Tell your doctor about all the medicines you take, including prescription and non-prescription medicines and herbal supplements.

  • Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor has told you
  • It is for oral use only

If you take more ALERGIN NF

  • If you take more than your prescribed dose, contact a doctor or your nearest hospital
  • Symptoms of overdose: sleepiness or tired, dizziness, confusion, restlessness, shaky or have a fast heart rate, headache, dilated pupils, diarrhoea, difficulty passing urine or itchy skin

 If you forget to take ALERGIN NF

  • If you forget to take a dose, take the next dose when needed  
  • Do not give a double dose to make up for forgotten dose

 If you stop taking ALERGIN NF

  • Do not stop taking this medicine unless your doctor tells you to do so

Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.

  • difficult, painful or involuntary urination
