AJADUO 25MG TABLET is a combination of Empagliflozin and Linagliptin which belongs to the group of medicines called Antidiabetic agents. It is used to manage type II diabetes mellitus among adult patients when diet, exercise and management with other conventional medicines does not result in adequate sugar control. It is used as an adjunct therapy along with proper diet and exercise to achieve better results.
AJADUO 25MG TABLET can also be used in the management of heart complications among patients having both diabetes and heart problems. Follow proper hygiene and regular foot care as instructed by your doctor while taking AJADUO 25MG TABLET. Regularly monitor your blood glucose levels as instructed by your doctor.
Before taking AJADUO 25MG TABLET inform your doctor if you have any liver or kidney problems. You must also inform your doctor if you are severely dehydrated due to excessive vomiting or diarrhea recently as a precaution.
AJADUO 25MG TABLET is not recommended for use in patients with Type I diabetes. It is also not suitable for use in patients with alcoholism and in patients with diabetic ketoacidosis.
Consult your doctor before taking AJADUO 25MG TABLET if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. The most common side effects of taking AJADUO 25MG TABLET are vaginal infection, sore throat or nose, cough, passing more urine than normal, thirst and constipation. Collectively, these actions controls blood sugar levels and improve glycemic control in patients with type II diabetes.
Take AJADUO 25MG TABLET as advised by your physician. Swallow the medicine with a glass of water. Do not crush or chew the medicine. AJADUO 25MG TABLET can be taken with or without meals.
Your doctor will decide the correct dose and duration of therapy for you depending upon your age, body weight and disease condition. Do not stop taking AJADUO 25MG TABLET unless your doctor advice you to stop.
Stop taking AJADUO 25MG TABLET and consult your doctor immediately if you experience any of the following side effects:
Taking AJADUO 25MG TABLET with meals may reduce the chances of constipation. However, if you experience constipation, eat plenty of fiber rich foods such as fresh fruits, vegetables and cereals. Drink plenty of fluids. Exercise more regularly. Consult your doctor if this side effect bothers you.
It is not known whether the use of AJADUO 25MG TABLET could affect the unborn baby. Therefore, it should not be used during pregnancy unless recommended by your doctor.

AJADUO 25MG TABLET has no influence on your ability to drive or handle heavy tools or machines. However, do not drive or operate any machines if your ability is affected by AJADUO 25MG TABLET.
Avoid consumption of alcohol while taking AJADUO 25MG TABLET as it may increase the risk of unwanted side effects.
AJADUO 25MG TABLET should be used with caution in in patients with serious kidney problems. Therefore, consult your doctor before taking it.
