What is AIRTIO INSTACAP used for?

AIRTIO INSTACAP inhaler/rotacap is used for the treatment of asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).

AIRTIO INSTACAP may also be prescribed for other conditions as determined by the doctor.

How does AIRTIO INSTACAP work?

AIRTIO INSTACAP belongs to the class of drugs called anti-muscarinic agents. This drug acts by inhibiting certain receptors in the smooth muscles of the airways. This dilates the respiratory tract and eases the breathing process.


The dosage and the drug form depend on the age, weight and medical condition of an individual.

AIRTIO INSTACAP inhaler/rotacap should be used as per the instructions provided by the doctor. Inhale the medication by inserting the container tip into the mouth. You must use only 1 or 2 puffs twice or thrice daily.

If you miss a dose of AIRTIO INSTACAP, please use it immediately once you remember. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, then skip the missed dose and continue with your regular dosing schedule. Do not use a double dose to make up for the missed dose.
