What is ACIPACT SUSPENSION used for?
ACIPACT SUSPENSION is used in paediatric patients to reduce inflammation and provide relief from pain from conditions (such as mild migraine, headaches, dental pain, muscle pain, rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, ankylosing spondylitis) which is also used in paediatric patients to treat fever.
How ACIPACT SUSPENSION works?
ACIPACT SUSPENSION provides relief from pain and reduces fever where aceclofenac and paracetamol works by blocking the action of prostaglandin (chemical messengers responsible for pain, fever and inflammation) thus reducing fever and providing relief from fever in affected children.
What are the most common side effects of taking ACIPACT SUSPENSION?
The most common side effects of administering ACIPACT SUSPENSION are diarrhoea, indigestion, abdominal pain, nausea, flatulence, constipation, and/or drowsiness. Consult your doctor if any of these symptoms becomes worse in the child.
What happens to the child if high dose ACIPACT SUSPENSION is administered?
If child or anyone else accidentally takes too much of ACIPACT SUSPENSION, then consult and inform your doctor immediately or visit the nearby hospital to manage overdose symptoms.
How to administer ACIPACT SUSPENSION in child?
Administer ACIPACT SUSPENSION in child as directed by your physician. Shake well before use. Your doctor will decide the correct dose and duration for your child depending upon the age, body weight and disease condition.
