  • azithromycin (used to treat bacterial infection)

  • Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor has told you
  • The dose may vary depending upon the age and individual patient conditions
  • This medicine should be swallowed whole with glass full of water
  • Do not crush or chew the tablet
  • It is preferably taken after meals

If you take more ABIWAYS

  • If you take too many ABIWAYS or if someone else has taken your medicine, talk to your doctor immediately and you may need medical attention
  • Symptoms of over dosage are: nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, flatulence, sleep disturbances

If you forget to take ABIWAYS

  • Take it as soon as you remember it. However, if it is nearly time for the next dose, skip the missed dose. Do not take a double dose to make up for a forgotten dose. Never take two doses on the same day

If you stop taking ABIWAYS

  • Without doctor advice do not stop taking ABIWAYS
