HOW LEEKUF SF SYRUP WORKS

LEEKUF SF SYRUP is a combination of three drugs, namely bromhexine, ammonium chloride, and dextromethorphan, where bromhexine is a mucolytic, ammonium chloride is an expectorant, and dextromethorphan is an antitussive. Bromhexine, as a mucolytic, reduces the viscosity of mucus in the respiratory system, allowing for easier breathing. Ammonium chloride, present in LEEKUF SF SYRUP, exerts its expectorant action by irritating the linings of the bronchi, which facilitates breathing and effective cough. Dextromorphan, as an antitussive, alleviates cough. As a result, all three drugs work together to alleviate cough symptoms associated with various lung conditions.
