Discardit II syringes are two-piece syringe consisting of polypropylene barrels and high-density polyethylene plungers. They contain an inert solid lubricant which enables smoother plunger movement. It also contains a plunger retention ring which avoids the accidental pull out of the plunger. These syringes do not contain PVC and natural rubber latex. Discardit Syringes are packed in peel off medical grade paper and nylon.
Insulin syringes are made specifically for self-injection. These contain shorter needles, as insulin injections are subcutaneous (under the skin) rather than intramuscular. They have finer gauge needles for less pain, and markings in insulin units to simplify drawing a measured dose of insulin.
Before use check the integrity of the sealing of the pack.
2ml Syringes are available with needle sizes of 21, 22, 23, 24, 25 gauge and needle length of 1 inch.
