Tegaderm™ Transparent Film Dressings can be used to protect I.V. catheter sites and wounds, to secure devices to the skin and to maintain a moist environment for wound healing. They are breathable, waterproof and act as a barrier to protect against external contaminants including bacteria, viruses*, blood and bodily fluids.
Transparent dressing allows for continuous visibility to the I.V. insertion site. It is adhesive and is gentle on the skin. Dressing flexes with skin for greater patient comfort.

View the site through the film and center the dressing over the wound.Do not stretch the dressing during application. 5. Slowly remove the paper frame from the dressing while smoothing down the dressing edges. Then smooth down the entire dressing, from the center out to the edges, using firm pressure to enhance adhesion. 6. Document dressing change information before removing the identification label from the frame. Apply the label to the edge of the dressing or directly on the skin.
