DIY Homemade Facial Cleansers

Cucumber and Honey Cleanser


3-4 tbsp of cucumber zest

1-2 tsp of honey

1 tbsp of curd


Mix all the ingredients and apply it all over your skin.

Keep it on for 10 minutes.

Use a damp cotton ball to remove the mask from the face.

Wash off with cool water.


The essential nutrients and antioxidants in cucumber work well on the pimples and dark spots by reducing them. Curd soothes irritated skin, whereas honey prevents inflammation and skin infection and in turn brightens and rejuvenates the skin. Use it on alternate days to get maximum results.

Honey and Curd Cleanser


2-3 tsp of honey

1 tbsp curd

2 drops of essential oil (of your choice)


Mix all the ingredients and smear it on your face.

Keep it in 10 minutes.

Gently massage in a circular motion on your face to remove the dirt and makeup.

Slowly remove the mask with damp cotton wool.

Wash off with cool water.

Rose Water and Glycerine Cleanser


3-4 tbsp rose water

2 tsp of glycerine

Cotton Ball


Mix the rose water and glycerine in a bowl.

Dab the cotton ball in the rose water-glycerine mixture and gently rub your face with this.

Once all the makeup residues and pollutants are removed, wash off with cool water and apply a moisturiser.


The miraculous properties of rose water not only cleanses the skin but also maintains the skin’s PH balance, controls oil secretion and prevent breakouts. The addition of glycerine is extremely beneficial in locking in the skin’s moisture without making it extra oily and also soothes irritated and inflamed skin.
