Lornoxicam is used for short-term treatment of mild to moderate pain. It also used to treat pain and inflammation of joints (in conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis).

How Lornoxicam works
Lornoxicam works by preventing the release of chemical messengers by inhibiting an enzyme called cyclooxygenase and also inhibits the prostaglandin synthesis that results in relieving pain and swelling associated with various conditions.
