Dapoxetine is a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor. It is believed to promote control over penile functions by increasing the activity of a particular chemical called serotonin in the brain. Sildenafil is a PDE5 inhibitor. It relaxes the blood vessels supplying the penis which allows increased blood and oxygen supply, thereby improving its functions.
