How Clindamycin+Clotrimazole works

Clindamycin is an antibacterial agent. It blocks the production of certain bacterial proteins which is essential for the bacteria to survival. This action prevents the further growth and multiplication of bacteria within the body.

Clotrimazole is an antifungal agent. It blocks the production of certain chemicals (ergosterol) within the fungal cell which is essential for its survival. This action kills the susceptible fungi and prevents the further spread of infection.

Together they reduce the bacteria and fungi that causes infections in the body.
