Tuberculosis is a serious infection disease that affects mainly the lungs. Tuberculosis also affects other parts of the body like kidney, spine and brain. Symptoms of tuberculosis includes – fever, cough, night sweats and weight loss which may be latent for many months and gradually worsens and spreads to others. It is very important to consult your doctor if there is fever, weight loss and persistent cough. Chest X-ray and several other tests are done to diagnose TB.
