PCOS is a common hormonal disorder amongst the women of reproductive age. It is caused by the failure of maturation of ovarian eggs and their collection in the ovaries as follicles. The failure of ovaries to release eggs affects ovulation leading to irregular menstruation. This leads to hormonal imbalance. PCOS might lead to infertility and even obesity. Stress is one of the major causes of hormonal imbalance. Unhealthy lifestyle, intake of junk food irregular sleep contributes to this condition.
