Bipolar disorders is not rare. It usually shows up symptoms at a very young age around 25 years and can be genetic. The person suffering from bipolar disorder shows extreme mood shifts. The symptoms are classified into three: mania, hypomania and depression. While experiencing mania, the person may feel excited, impulsive and full of energy and in depression they suffer from lack of energy, lack of interest in activities, insomnia, too much sleep and suicidal thoughts. Bipolar disorder is hard to diagnose because of its varied symptoms. Several treatments including medications, counselling and lifestyle changes will help in dealing with this mental disorder.
